Avren Motors gig-rental FAQ.

This page explains how Avren rentals work in plain language. Exact vehicle-specific pricing, deposits, insurance requirements, approved uses and contract terms are confirmed during approval and in the signed agreement.

Getting started

Before you apply.

What does Avren Motors do?

Avren Motors provides recurring gig car rentals for working drivers across South Metro Atlanta and mobile headlight restoration for local vehicle owners and automotive partners.

Who are Avren rentals designed for?

Drivers who need practical transportation for approved delivery, courier, rideshare or other disclosed work use and who can meet Avren’s screening, payment, insurance and agreement requirements.

How do I get started?

Review pricing, rental requirements and the fleet, then complete the online driver application. Avren reviews eligibility, intended use, timing and availability before moving to secure verification.

How long does the first application take?

The initial online application is designed to take only a few minutes. It intentionally avoids collecting highly sensitive documents or payment credentials in the first-contact form.

Does submitting an application guarantee approval?

No. An application starts the review process. Approval depends on screening, insurance eligibility, payment readiness, approved vehicle use, actual rental-ready inventory and the final signed terms.

Can I apply even if a vehicle is not available today?

Yes. You can apply and join the waitlist for future availability. A specific vehicle is not promised until Avren confirms that it is rental-ready and available for your approved use.

What happens after I apply?

Avren reviews your information, contacts qualified applicants about next steps, completes any required secure verification, confirms a vehicle match and exact terms, then schedules a documented handoff if both sides proceed.

Eligibility & screening

Avren screens the renter and the intended use.

Do I need a valid driver’s license?

Yes. A valid, unexpired driver’s license is required before a vehicle can be released.

Does Avren check driving history?

An appropriate driving-record or MVR review may be required as part of approval. The exact screening process is handled during verification, not by asking you to post sensitive information into the public website form.

Do I need to already be active on a gig platform?

Not necessarily for the initial inquiry. Avren asks whether you are active, approved, applying or using the vehicle for another disclosed work purpose so the correct eligibility and insurance questions can be reviewed.

Do you run a credit check?

If credit or other financial screening is required for a specific rental, Avren will disclose it before you authorize the check. The initial online application does not ask you to provide credit-report credentials.

Do I need proof of income?

Avren may request reasonable evidence of payment readiness or gig/work qualification during approval. The exact documentation depends on the rental and is not collected in the initial online application.

What documents might be requested later?

Depending on the rental, Avren may request license, identity, driving, gig-platform, insurance and payment-related documentation through an appropriate verification process.

Should I upload my Social Security number or card number in the application form?

No. Do not place Social Security numbers, full payment-card numbers or other highly sensitive credentials in the initial Avren web application. Secure verification happens separately if you advance.

Can Avren decline an application?

Yes. Avren may decline or postpone an application when eligibility, insurance, payment readiness, intended use or vehicle availability does not meet the rental requirements.

Pricing & payments

Know the structure before you sign.

How much do Avren gig rentals cost?

Gig rentals start at $350/week. The exact weekly rate is confirmed for the specific rental-ready vehicle before signing.

Why does Avren show a weekly price if the agreement is longer?

The weekly rate makes your ongoing transportation cost easy to understand. Approved renters still use a formal 90-day agreement, and the complete terms are reviewed before pickup.

Is there a security deposit?

A deposit or other payment control may apply. The amount and payment structure are confirmed during approval and shown to you before you sign.

How are rental payments made?

Avren prefers structured recurring electronic payment, with ACH/autopay and an appropriate backup payment method when practical. The final payment method is confirmed before signing.

Can I pay cash every week?

Recurring electronic payment is the standard method. If a different payment arrangement is approved for your rental, it will be confirmed and documented before you sign.

Are there hidden fees?

Avren’s approach is to disclose the vehicle-specific rate, deposit/payment structure and material rental terms before you sign. Charges that may arise from the agreement—such as damage, violations or other renter responsibilities—should be understood before handoff.

Can weekly pricing change?

Pricing can vary by vehicle, availability, approved use and the terms offered for a future renewal. Your signed agreement controls the pricing and terms for the current rental period.

Is mileage unlimited?

Avren does not advertise a blanket unlimited-mileage promise. Gig rentals are intended for working drivers, but the mileage policy for a specific vehicle is confirmed in the signed terms so the renter understands any limits, maintenance requirements or related responsibilities before handoff.

Can a good renter receive a better rate?

Avren may offer selective promotions or renter-specific discounts, but no discount is guaranteed until it is offered in writing for a specific rental.

Vehicles & availability

Practical fleet choices, not promises from a photo.

What types of vehicles does Avren focus on?

Avren focuses on practical compact and midsize sedans, with selected minivans available when they fit the renter’s approved use and current availability.

Can I choose a specific model?

You can state a preferred model or class, and Avren will use that preference when matching you with an available vehicle. Final assignment depends on what is rental-ready and appropriate when you are approved.

Are the vehicles shown on the website guaranteed to be available?

No. Fleet photography is representative. Actual year, trim, color, condition and availability vary by unit, and your specific vehicle is confirmed before signing.

Why does Avren show cars that may not be immediately available?

A vehicle shown on the fleet page may already be rented, in maintenance or still being prepared. Your application can include a preferred model or class, but Avren confirms the actual rental-ready vehicle before you sign.

Does Avren prefer base-model cars?

Not necessarily. Avren generally favors useful mid-level trims that add practical comfort and features without pushing the rental into luxury-car territory.

Are minivans available?

Selected minivans may be available for approved passenger or cargo use. Availability depends on which vehicles are rental-ready at the time you apply.

What does “rental-ready” mean?

It means the required title and registration, applicable insurance readiness, safety and mechanical checks, keys, condition documentation and maintenance baseline are completed before release.

Gig use & insurance

Disclose how you plan to use the car.

Can I use an Avren vehicle for Uber or Lyft?

Potentially, but rideshare use is approved only when the specific renter, vehicle, platform and insurance arrangement allow it. Platform requirements can change, so eligibility is confirmed before pickup.

Can I use the vehicle for DoorDash, Uber Eats, Instacart, Spark or Amazon Flex?

Delivery and courier uses are part of Avren’s approved-use options, but the intended platform or work type must be disclosed and approved for the specific rental.

Can I use the vehicle for more than one gig app?

Potentially. List the platforms or work types you plan to use so Avren can confirm that the vehicle and insurance arrangement fit the intended use.

Does Avren guarantee that a particular gig platform will accept the vehicle?

No. Platform age, inspection, registration, insurance and vehicle requirements can change. Avren confirms what it can before handoff, but the platform ultimately controls its own eligibility rules.

Is insurance included?

The applicable insurance arrangement and renter responsibilities are confirmed during approval for the specific vehicle and intended use. Review those requirements before signing because they can vary by rental.

Why does Avren ask what kind of work I do?

Commercial and gig use can affect platform eligibility, insurance, mileage and maintenance requirements. Accurate disclosure helps Avren confirm that the vehicle and rental terms fit the way you plan to use it.

Can I use the rental for an undisclosed business or personal purpose?

Use should stay within the signed agreement and approved purpose. If your intended use changes, contact Avren before assuming the new use is allowed.

Maintenance, condition & telematics

A working car has to stay a working car.

Who handles routine maintenance?

Avren manages fleet maintenance requirements and schedules service based on mileage, time, manufacturer guidance, severity and actual condition. The renter must cooperate with required service appointments and reporting.

What should I do if a warning light comes on?

Report it promptly and follow Avren’s instructions. Continuing to operate a vehicle with a serious warning or obvious mechanical problem can turn a manageable repair into a major failure.

Will Avren inspect the vehicle during the rental?

Yes. Recurring condition inspections are part of the rental process. They help catch tire, brake, body, fluid, warning-light and maintenance issues before they become larger problems.

What happens if the vehicle breaks down?

Contact Avren promptly and follow the rental agreement and the instructions provided for that situation. The appropriate response depends on location, safety, diagnosis, insurance and the specific vehicle issue.

Is roadside assistance included?

Roadside coverage can vary by vehicle and rental arrangement. Any roadside coverage, limits and renter responsibilities that apply to your vehicle will be explained before you sign.

What if I get into an accident?

Prioritize safety, contact emergency services when appropriate, document the scene and notify Avren as required by the rental agreement. Do not make assumptions about repair, towing or continued use without following the documented process.

Does Avren use GPS or telematics?

Lawful GPS/telematics may be used for vehicle protection, mileage and maintenance tracking. Required consent and relevant terms are disclosed before pickup.

Why would Avren track mileage or vehicle condition?

Gig rentals accumulate working miles quickly. Accurate mileage and condition records help keep maintenance on schedule, support safety and preserve clear documentation for the rental.

How often will the vehicle need maintenance?

Service timing depends on mileage, time, manufacturer guidance, severity of use and actual condition. High-mileage gig driving can require attention sooner than low-mileage personal use.

Do I need to bring the car back for inspections?

Recurring condition inspections are part of the rental process. The schedule is explained for your rental so maintenance and condition issues can be caught early.

Can I modify the vehicle or install equipment?

Do not assume modifications, wiring, decals or added equipment are allowed. Ask Avren first and follow the vehicle-specific agreement before changing or attaching anything that could affect condition, safety, electronics or insurance.

Agreement & handoff

Professional paperwork before the keys move.

What is the standard rental term?

Approved Avren rentals use formal 90-day agreements. Renewal is reviewed before each new term based on account status, vehicle condition, continued eligibility, availability and current terms.

Can I cancel whenever I want?

Cancellation, early return and termination rights are governed by the signed rental agreement. Review those terms before taking possession rather than assuming a week-to-week policy.

Can someone else drive the rental?

Do not assume another person is authorized to drive. Any additional-driver rules, screening and insurance requirements are controlled by the signed agreement and approved rental arrangement.

Can I take the vehicle outside Georgia?

Do not assume unrestricted out-of-state travel. Geographic-use rules are confirmed in the rental agreement, and renters should contact Avren before travel that may fall outside the approved operating area or terms.

Who is responsible for tolls, parking tickets or traffic violations?

The signed agreement explains renter responsibilities for tolls, citations, violations and related charges. Report issues promptly so records can be handled correctly rather than allowing fees or notices to accumulate.

What is documented at vehicle handoff?

Avren’s handoff documentation includes condition photos, odometer, keys, maintenance baseline and applicable title/registration, insurance and telematics documentation before pickup.

What is the fuel policy?

The fuel level and any return requirement are documented at handoff and controlled by the signed agreement. Review it before leaving so there is no confusion at return.

Are smoking or pets allowed?

Any smoking, pet, cleaning and interior-condition rules are governed by the vehicle-specific agreement. Do not assume an activity is allowed if it could create odor, damage, cleaning cost or insurance concerns.

What if my assigned vehicle has to come out of service?

Avren will evaluate the repair, safety issue and available fleet options, but an immediate replacement vehicle is not guaranteed. Availability, insurance and the circumstances of the downtime determine the next step.

Will I sign documents electronically?

Electronic signatures may be used. The signing method for your rental will be explained during approval before you review and sign the agreement.

What helps me qualify for renewal?

Consistent payments, safe use, good communication, timely maintenance cooperation, acceptable vehicle condition and continued eligibility all support a renewable relationship.

Can I renew after the first 90 days?

Potentially. Renewal is reviewed before the end of the current term based on account status, vehicle condition, continued eligibility, availability and current terms. Avren’s renewal is never automatic and is confirmed before the next term begins.

Service area & supporting services

Local operations across South Metro Atlanta.

What areas does Avren serve?

Avren’s South Metro Atlanta focus includes South Fulton, Fayette, Coweta, Troup and Henry, with vehicle pickup, inspections, maintenance coordination and support planned around South Metro Atlanta.

Do I have to live in one of those counties?

Not necessarily, but location affects handoff practicality, inspections, service support and service practicality. Nearby applicants can still apply and let Avren evaluate the logistics.

Does Avren offer headlight restoration?

Yes. Mobile headlight restoration is an active supporting service for vehicle owners, gig drivers, dealerships, body shops and service partners.

How much is headlight restoration?

Avren’s current headlight restoration price is $150 per vehicle.

Does Avren perform general auto repair?

No. Avren offers headlight restoration as a focused mobile service and does not provide general mechanical repair.

Are the fleet vehicles for sale?

The vehicles shown on this site are presented as rental options unless a specific listing clearly states otherwise.

Know enough to decide?

Review the requirements once more or start your application. A specific vehicle is confirmed only after approval and rental-ready availability.
